Handknitted poncho in wool

Garment widely used as a mantle by the indigenous peoples of Central and South America, consists of a single piece of cloth or rectangular wool, fitted in the center of a gap to pass the head. It is very comfortable even for young children, as it only puts the head on and the body stays warm without cluttering. Leave your arms free to play, run, jump without hindrance.

This proposed is a small poncho for babies, size 6/12 months (but given the pattern fits easily) in pure virgin wool, a mottled part, a purple. Comfortable to wear as said, with ample space for the head, it is enveloping and very hot so much that it can also be used as a jacket to leave the house.

The garment worked tends to lengthen during the washing, it is recommended to dry it flat on a towel or other.
